The Doctoral Program on Informatics is structured in two phases: a curricular one, which amounts to 60 ECTS, and the Ph.D. thesis in Informatics, corresponding to 180 ECTS.
The curricular component, referred to as Doctoral Course, includes 4 curricular units on Computational Sciences and Technologies, 2 curricular units on Behavior and Innovation, and 2 more Seminar units. It includes, also, the Thesis Planning curricular unit.
Admission to the Ph.D. thesis phase implies the conclusion of a probationary period of one year and the completion of a minimum of 35 ECTS, including the Thesis Planning curricular unit.
